Drive-thru gives school supplies

BOOK BAG DISTRIBUTION: A free book bag drive thru sponsored by the St. Nicholas Samaritan Outreach in Warren will be 3 to 4 p.m. Aug. 2 at Newton Falls American Legion, 2025 E. River Road, Newton Falls. Bags are filled with school supplies will be given out as supplies last. Children must be present to receive book bag.

BLOOD DRIVE: The American Red Cross will host a blood drive 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Braceville United Methodist Church, Newton Falls. Masks are required and will be provided if needed.

COVID TESTING: A COVID-19 testing hosted by One Health Ohio will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Trumbull Community Action Program, 1230 Palmyra Road, SW, Warren. Call 330-884-6122 to reserve a spot. The deadline is 4 p.m. Tuesday.

BOARD VACANCY: The board of Trumbull County Commissioners is seeking candidates to fill two Trumbull County Transit Board seats, with one Democrat and one Republican. Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and a resume to the Board of Trumbull County Commissioners, 160 High St. NW, Warren, OH 44481.
