CORTLAND ROTARY: The Cortland Rotary Club has flags available for the public to show their support by displaying an American flag in their yard. When you lease a flag from the Cortland Rotary Club, you will get to display an American Flag on six major holidays: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Patriot Day (9/11) and Veterans Day. When you lease a flag, the Rotary will insert a PVC plastic sleeve, along with a cap, in the ground in your front yard. No brackets or fixtures are attached to your home. The flags remain the property of the Cortland Rotary Club. The total cost is $30 per year, or $20 after July 4. For information call 330-719-5792 or email flags@cortlandrotary .org.

TRAVELING FOOD PANTRY: The Second Harvest Food Bank will have a traveling food pantry starting at 11 a.m. today in the parking lot at Maplewood High School in Mecca. The food distribution will have people pull up in vehicles and remain inside their cars while food is placed in the vehicle by volunteers.
