BENEFIT IN LEAVITTSBURG: A cancer benefit to help Jim Ryan Jr. will be 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Johnson Community Center, 800 Gillmer Road, Leavittsburg. The event will include a dinner, Chinese auction, 50-50 raffle and a bake sale.

ROBOTICS FUNDRAISER: The Warren G. Harding High School FIRST Robotics Team Elite 48 will hold a fundraiser 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at high school cafeteria. The event will include a 50-50 raffle, basket raffle, door prize raffle, LEGOS and activities for children, including driving the robot.
The team is preparing its robot for regional competitions in March.
WARD-THOMAS OPEN HOUSE: The Niles Historical Society will hold its monthly open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday of the Ward-Thomas House, 503 Brown St., Niles. The last tour will begin at 4.
The monthly membership meeting will be 10 a.m. March 7 in the Westenfield Room. All members are encouraged to attend and participate in the organization. Plans will be made for the spring banquet in April at Ciminero's Banquet Centre in Niles, with speaker Traci Manning from the Mahoning Valley Historical Society.
