TOUCH A TRUCK: Newton Falls Public Library will hold a ”Touch a Truck” 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the library’s upper parking lot. Children will be able to see a tractor, police car and Army vehicle and the hometown heroes who drive them. The event will also include outdoor games and free food.

AUSTINTOWN MUSEUM OPENS: Austintown Historical Society will have two museums open for tours 1 to 3 p.m. the first Sunday of each month. EARN A BADGE: Local Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts may participate in the fifth annual Bill Pearce Memorial Star Party 9 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Pogany Pavilion at Austintown Township Park. The event is sponsored by the Mahoning Valley Astronomical Society for scouts to earn the Astronomy Merit Badge or its equivalent. The program is free and open to the public for viewing the planets and deep space objects through telescopes and binoculars. Rain date is June 16.
