Leadership Mahoning Valley is inviting its alumni, friends and family to join in celebrating community connections at its first LMV Connect! event on Thursday at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, 7327 Market St., Boardman.
LMV Connect! is designed to bring together Leadership Mahoning Valley friends and family, for an opportunity to reconnect, make new connections and support the organization. Guests are welcome anytime between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. to enjoy lunch, dinner, takeout or simply stop in throughout the day.
The event also provides an easy way to give back to an organization dedicated to developing leaders and strengthening the Mahoning Valley. BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse will donate 20% of all food and soft beverage purchases to Leadership Mahoning Valley in connection with the event.
Participation is simple: enjoy a meal at BJ's on Thursday and present the LMV Connect! fundraising flyer found at www.leadershipmahoningvalley.org/events/. There is no additional cost to guests, and their participation helps support LMV’s leadership development programs and initiatives throughout the region.
“Leadership Mahoning Valley has always been about bringing people together, building relationships, and developing leaders who make a difference in our community,” said JoAnn Stock, president of Leadership Mahoning Valley. “LMV Connect! is a fun and informal way for our alumni to reconnect, introduce friends and family to the organization, and help support the programs that continue to strengthen our region."
