NEW LEADERSHIP: Hynes Industries has named Robert T. Moe as company president, effective Oct. 1.

Moe, who joined the company in 2019 as chief operating officer, now leads all operational functions at Hynes, including production, quality and engineering. Rick Organ, previously president and CEO, continues as CEO.

Hynes Industries manufactures custom roll-formed and fabricated metal components for the data center, truck-trailer, automated material handling, solar energy and commercial-industrial markets from facilities in Youngstown, Painesville and Kokomo, Ind. The appointment brings design, development and execution under one leader as the company continues a period of rapid growth.

"When Robert first worked with us as a consultant, he didn't just take an interest in our business, he brought real insight to it," Organ said. "Over the past seven years he has earned the respect of our employees, customers and suppliers. He's a strong leader with a real command of process. As we grow, it makes sense to put production, quality and engineering under one person, and I'm very confident Robert is the right person for that role."

Moe's path to Ohio is not a typical one for a manufacturing executive. He was born and raised on an island off the west coast of Norway where he grew up in a family business in transportation, and started his career at a young age. He later served as president of a national NGO, representing the organization before the country's Parliament.

REOPENING: QUICKmed celebrated the grand reopening of The Lippy Group for Ear, Nose and Throat with a ribbon-cutting celebration Oct. 13 at 3893 E. Market St., Warren.

The celebration follows QUICKmed's acquisition of The Lippy Group earlier this year, a move designed to preserve access to specialized ear, nose and throat care and hearing services for patients throughout the Mahoning Valley.

Rather than closing the chapter on a longtime Warren healthcare institution, the partnership allows The Lippy Group's tradition of specialized care to continue while connecting patients with QUICKmed's growing network of community-based healthcare services.

"The Lippy Group represents more than a medical practice. It represents decades of trust, relationships and specialized care for families throughout this region," said Lena Esmail, CEO and founder of QUICKmed. "We are proud to help carry that legacy forward and ensure patients continue to have access to ENT and hearing services right here in the Mahoning Valley. This grand reopening is an opportunity to honor where The Lippy Group has been while celebrating where it is going."

The Lippy Group's history in Warren dates back more than six decades. Its founder, the late Dr. William H. Lippy, began practicing ear, nose and throat medicine in Warren in 1960 and went on to become internationally recognized for his work in otology and the surgical treatment of hearing loss associated with otosclerosis. His work brought patients, physicians and medical professionals from well beyond the Mahoning Valley to Warren.

QUICKmed acquired The Lippy Group in July as part of its commitment to maintaining access to healthcare services within the communities it serves.
