Hynes Industries has been named a Platinum Supplier by Wabash, a recognition the manufacturer of commercial truck-trailers awards each year to a select group of high-performing suppliers.
The designation marks the fourth consecutive year and ninth time overall that Hynes has received the honor.
Hynes Industries, a producer of custom metal fabrication solutions utilizing roll forming and related manufacturing methods, has operations in Youngstown and Painesville in addition to Kokomo, Indiana. Hynes supplies Wabash with a range of metal structural components used in over-the-road trailers and truck bodies -- including rear frame structural components, bumper tubes, roof bows, corrugated scuff, horizontal E-track, nose posts and logistic side posts. These parts are produced at the company's Youngstown and Kokomo facilities.
"Wabash sets a high bar, and meeting it year after year takes a team that treats their priorities as our own," said Rick Organ, CEO of Hynes Industries. "We don't take a relationship like this for granted. Each award is a checkpoint, not a finish line -- a reminder to keep finding ways to improve our performance."
According to Wabash, suppliers are evaluated through a cross-functional process that assesses performance and alignment with the company's operational priorities. The recognition highlights partners that demonstrate a consistent, collaborative approach to quality and continuous improvement.
Hynes serves the truck-trailer, data center, automated material handling, solar energy and commercial-industrial markets. The company has continued to expand its engineering and quality capabilities by investing in advanced fabrication and AI-based quality control equipment to deepen the value it delivers to customers across those markets.
