The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will recognize three Valley leaders for their contributions to business and community leadership during its annual meeting 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. April 16 at Waypoint 4180 in Canfield.

The gathering is a signature opportunity to reflect on the past year’s progress, celebrate the partners helping move the Valley forward and highlight the work of the Regional Chamber throughout the year.

During the event, the Chamber will present the Spirit of the Valley Award to Eric Ryan, president and CEO of JAC Management Group, and the Spirit of the Chamber Award to Samuel Miller, president of Trumbull Industries Inc.

The event will feature Jan Prisby Bryson, Valley Champion Award recipient and keynote speaker. Bryson, who grew up on Youngstown’s East Side, shattered gender and racial barriers as chairwoman and founder of BenchMark Management, an Atlanta-based engineering and construction services firm.

With more than 20 years of experience in government affairs, she has advanced minority inclusion across federal, state and local governments. Bryson is also the co-founder of WICERS (Women in Construction, Engineering and Related Services) and has been recognized by the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials with the Women Who Move the Nation Award.
