YOUNGSTOWN -- The winner of the Youngstown Business Incubator's first virtual pitch competition and a $5,000 prize is Cleveland-based tech startup NeverEnding, makers of a web-based visual storytelling platform.

NeverEnding, among 13 companies that submitted a video pitch online, lets users build a scene by placing backgrounds, objects, characters and then animate those characters to turn the session into an animated video.

It also includes a built-in character builder that allows users to visualize characters they way they see them.

NeverEnding is still pre-revenue and working to develop its full software platform. The $5,000 prize will let the company bring an intern from Case Western Reserve University on for a full-time co-op next semester, according to Jamie Van Doren, founder.

YBI held the virtual competition this year instead of its YBI Shark Tank competition due to the viral outbreak, but plans to go back to the in-person Shark Tank event in late 2021.
