The music of James Taylor, Carly Simon and Carole King will be featured in the next Westminster College Celebrity Series Event. Three American Troubadours is a tribute to the three artists, all of whom are inductees in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Taylor is a six-time Grammy winner who has sold more than 100 million albums. First Wednesday reading puts poets in spotlight

Two poets will be the featured readers for Lit Youngstown’s next First Wednesday Reader Series event. Sean Thomas Dougherty is an Erie, Pa., poet whose books include “Death Prefers the Minor Keys” from BOA Editions, and “The Dead are Everywhere Telling Us Things,” winner of the 2021 Jacar Books Prize. Federal Frenzy announces 2026 lineup

It took six years, but rapper Armani White finally is playing Youngstown. White, whose song “Billie Eilish” has been streamed nearly a half billion times on Spotify, will be the headliner for this year’s Federal Frenzy, presented by Youngstown State University’s Penguin Productions. White will be one of more than 20 acts performing on two outdoor and three indoor stages on or near West Federal Street on April 18.
