Kent-Trumbull Theatre announces 2026-27 season

A musical by Stephen Sondheim and a musical about a redheaded orphan will bookend Kent State University at Trumbull Theatre’s 2026-27 season. Sondheim’s “Into the Woods,” a dark reimagining of familiar fairy tales, will open the season on Nov. 12 with Harmon Andrews directing. The second production will be the dark comedy “The Secretaries,” written by Lisa Kron, Babs Davy, Dominique Dibbell, Peg Healey and Maureen Angelos.
