Packard books Clay Walker Christmas show
A Clay Walker Family Christmas comes to Packard Music Hall in Warren on Nov. 27.
The show mixes holiday favorites and country classics by Walker, who had 17 top 10 country hits between 1993 and 2009, including "What's It to You," "Live Until I Die," "Dreaming with My Eyes Open," "Rumor Has It" and "She Won't Be Lonely Long."
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. An online-only presale runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today with the password: CWXMAS.
'Millionaire's Row' walking tour set
The Trumbull County Historical Society will have a walking tour of Warren's "Millionaire's Row" at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The tour includes houses on or near Mahoning Avenue NW that were once home to the city's most influential industrialists, innovators and civic leaders. It will include the stories behind these homes -- the families who built them, the fortunes that shaped Warren's rise and the legacies that still echo today.
The tour leaves from First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Ave. NW. Tickets are $10, and reservations are required at trumbullcountyhistory.org and by calling 330-394-4653.
Butler seeks trainees for docent program
The Butler Institute of American Art is seeking enthusiastic volunteers for its next docent training program.
Individuals with a passion for art, history and lifelong learning are encouraged to apply. No previous museum experience is required -- only an interest in American art, a willingness to learn and a commitment to completing the program.
Classes meet from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursdays from mid-September until early April 2027 in Zona Auditorium. Selected applicants will be interviewed in late July. For more information, call education director Joyce Mistovich at 330-743-1107, Ext. 1101.
2 Ticks & The Dog wins Telly Award
2 Ticks & The Dog won a 2026 Telly Award in the general automotive category for its television commercial campaign "R.D. Banks Chevrolet: Legacy 2025."
It is the seventh Telly Award won by the downtown Warren company started 25 years ago by Jim Fogarty. 2 Ticks specializes in commercial video production, internet and mobile video and cinema advertising and electronic media buying and political media consulting.
Established in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring commercial television and video production and receives over 12,000 entries annually from around the world.
