Closing reception set for ‘No Guarantees’
A closing reception for the “No Guarantees” exhibition is planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Trumbull Art Gallery, 158 N. Park Ave., Warren.
Curated by Robyn Maas, the show features the work of 19 women artists, and the title refers to solitary work that all artists put in with “no guarantees” that their creations will be seen outside of their workspace.

Firewood expo comes to Trumbull fairgrounds
The International Firewood Expo returns June 5 and 6 to the Trumbull County Fairgrounds, 899 Everett Hull Road, Bazetta.
Hosted by Ohio Wood Burner Ltd, it brings together firewood and forestry professionals, equipment manufacturers, content creators and enthusiasts for two days of hands-on demonstrations and industry connection.
Attendees can expect a wide range of firewood industry equipment and products, including live demonstrations and exhibitor showcases spanning processing, cutting, handling, and related tools and services. For more information, go to internationalfirewoodexpo.com.
Pride picnic is planned Saturday at Wick Park
A picnic for Youngstown Community Pride is scheduled from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Wick Park, Elm Street and Illinois Avenue, Youngstown.
The community-run, trans-inclusive, family-friendly Pride event will include a free vegan meal, a variety of talks and workshops and entertainment by Aairo, Conner Bez, Adele Pickle, Mixxona and Crash the Great.
