Bike event postponed in Youngstown
Due to the weather forecast, the Bike @ the Market event planned today in downtown Youngstown is postponed until June 11.
The Bike Month Walk leaving from the grounds of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, 305 Wick Ave., will go on as scheduled at 5:30 p.m. today, weather permitting.

TAG displays Devadan’s art
Katerina Devadan is the artist of the month for May at Trumbull Art Gallery, 158 N. Park Ave., Warren.
Her exhibit “Bloomed by Hand” includes pottery, painting and design that is rooted in harmony, repetition and emotional safety. She uses repeated patterns to express deep appreciation for nature’s symmetry and strength, the influence of cultural memory and the peace that repetition brings.

Project Mayhem plays Spartan Stadium
The Boardman High School rock orchestra Project Mayhem will play its annual stadium show on Friday.
The high-energy outdoor performance attracts thousands to Spartan Stadium, 7777 Glenwood Ave., and showcases the talents of Boardman High School’s student musicians and vocalists in a full-scale stadium concert experience.
Gates open at 7:30 p.m., and the concert starts at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the stadium. Tickets also can be purchased in advance at door one at Boardman high school from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Library program looks at singers, songs
A program on “Memories Are Made of This: Singers and the Songs that Made Them Famous” is scheduled at 5 p.m. Monday at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library Liberty Branch, 415 Churchill Hubbard Road.
Local historian Marcia Levy will highlight famous singers and the songs that made them famous, including music from Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Sonny & Cher, Dolly Parton and others.

Bike Belmont event planned Sunday
The 4th Bike Belmont community cycling event starts at noon Sunday at Wick Park, 260 Park Ave., Youngstown.
Participants can take part in a 12-mile or 32-mile ride for the program designed to showcase the Belmont Avenue corridor while promoting healthy lifestyles and strengthening connections among residents, businesses and local organizations.
Following the ride will be a celebration in Wick Park with food trucks and family-friendly activities. Registration is $10 per rider and those who register in advance will receive a $10 food truck voucher E-bikes will be available for rental. Helmets are required. Bites and Bits looks at museum’s architecture
The Arts and Crafts architectural style and its influence on what is now known as the Arms Family Museum will be the topic of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society’s next Bites and Bits of History program.
Jessica Trickett, MVHS collections manager, will explore the style that grew from a philosophical movement launched by 19th century English writers, art critics, and designers. Olive Arms used the Arts and Crafts aesthetic to create her home in 1905 at 648 Wick Ave., Youngstown.
The program starts at noon May 21 at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St., Youngstown. Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch to enjoy during the program.
TCHS plans Pioneer Cemetery tour
The Trumbull County Historical Society will offer a walking tour of Pioneer Cemetery, 661 Mahoning Ave. NW, at 10 a.m. May 23.
Pioneer Cemetery is where many of Warren’s early settlers, including many Revolutionary War veterans, are buried.
