JCC displays work by Abilities Unite clients

The artwork of Abilities Unite participants is on display through Feb. 27 in the Thomases Family Endowment of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation Art Gallery at the Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown.

The Abilities Unite Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, formerly the Fairhaven Foundation, is committed to enriching the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, but with greater reach and impact.

It supports individuals eligible for services through Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana County Boards of Developmental Disabilities.

The exhibition celebrates creativity and inclusion, featuring artwork by individuals of all abilities. A reception is scheduled 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.

Ian Munsick flies into Packard Music Hall

Ian Munsick brings his The Eagle Flies Free tour to Packard Music Hall on April 17.

The country singer-songwriter has released three albums on Warren Music Nashville. His 2021 single, “Long Haul,” was certified gold and the 2023 single, “Long Live Cowgirls,” with Cody Johnson, was certified platinum.

Munsick sold out his 2024 show as a headliner at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, and he returns to the venue this summer.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. An online-only presale runs 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password: PACKARD.

Robins books former Grand Funk frontman

WARREN — Mark Farner’s American Band comes to the Robins Theatre on June 20.

Farner was lead singer, guitar player and a founding member of Grand Funk Railroad, whose hits include “We’re an American Band,” “The Loco-Motion” and “Some Kind of Wonderful.”

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
