Wean Foundation plans 75th Anniversary Summit
HOWLAND — Ruha Benjamin will be the keynote speaker for the Raymond John Wean Foundation’s 75th Anniversary Summit on Sept. 10 at The Grand Resort, 9519 E. Market St., Howland.
Benjamin is the Alexander Stewart 1886 Professor of African American Studies at Princeton University, founding director of the Ida B. Wells Just Data Lab and author of several award-winning books, including “Viral Justice: How We Grow the World We Want.”
The Summit runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a reception to follow. There is no charge to attend, but advance registration is required by Aug. 23 at weanfoundation.org/wean-foundation-
