ACTS celebrates the season in four-part harmony with the musical "Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings."
The show is a Christmas sequel to the musical "Plaid Tidings." Francis, Jinx, Smudge and Sparky, the four singers of a 1950s vocal group who got a chance in the original musical to deliver the concert that a fatal car accident canceled, are called back to perform once again. This time it's to play a Christmas show to bring some harmony to a troubled world.
The cast features Thomas Rhys-Roberts, Tom Morelli, Harmon Andrews and Dakota Smith.
The musical is directed by Ron Sinesio with Joe Spurio as music director, Jan Crews as accompanist, Stephen Ley on percussion and Devin Zerjav on bass.
"Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings" will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at ACTS Center for the Performing Arts, 40 S. Irvine Ave., Sharon, Pa. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students and are available online at www.actsharp
