Austintown author Nancy Christie has two local book signings this month for her novel "Reinventing Rita."
The book tells the story of a woman who decides to change her life after a series of unwelcome occurrences as her 50th birthday approaches. Christie's other books include "Peripheral Visions and Other Stories," "Traveling Left of Center and Other Stories," "Rut-Busting Book for Authors," "Rut-Busting Book for Writers" and "The Gifts of Change."
Book signings are scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble, 381 Boardman-Poland Road, Boardman, and noon to 3 p.m. June 17 at Leana's Books and More, 4317 Kirk Road, Austintown.
