Anita Shaw of Cortland is announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of her daughter, Rebecca Lynn Shaw, daughter of the late Gordon Shaw, to Todd Anthony Blanchard, son of the late Larry and Diane Blanchard.
Rebecca graduated from Lakeview High School and has a degree from Penn State University. Todd graduated from Howland High School and continued working in manufacturing until he began his career as a rural letter carrier.
The couple met at work, where they are both employees of the United States Postal Service. They have plans for a July wedding at the Von Isley Estate in Niles.
