Warren residents Jean and Jerry Ruggieri celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on May 8.
Together they had two children, daughters Christine Ruggieri (Rick Ritchie) and Cynthia, who died in 2009.
The couple was married at St. Mary's Church in Warren, and were founding members of the Blessed Sacrament parish, where they remain active members.
Jerry owned a local dry cleaning business which his father started, and Jean was a homemaker who was active in her community.
To celebrate their marriage, on May 5 they attended the anniversary Mass at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown.
