James and Phyllis Walters celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
James and the former Phyllis Hobbs were married on June 29, 1963, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in McDonald.
They have three children: Robin (Andrew) Friend of Newport News, Va., Jim (Patti Hoover) Walters of Ijamsville, Md., and Kerry (Jeff) Watts of Hubbard.
The couple also have 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
