Here are upcoming gardening events through the Ohio State University Extension Office. For more information and a complete list, contact:

• OSU Mahoning County Extension Office, 490 S. Broad St., Canfield. 330-533-5538. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

• OSU Trumbull County Extension Office, 520 W. Main St. Suite 1, Cortland. 330-638-6783. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Plant and Pest Clinic

You can submit your questions by calling the Mahoning County office at 330-533-5538 or emailing us at mahoningclinic@osu.edu. Please attach photos and add any information that would help research your plant and pest questions. The clinic is open April through October, Monday and Thursday 9 a.m. to noon. Walk-ins are welcome.

Bring One, Take One Plant and Garden Art Sale in Canfield

WHAT: Join the OSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Mahoning County for a fun morning celebrating gardening and community! Bring up to five healthy, weed-free, labeled plants to exchange for new additions to your garden, or simply browse and purchase one-of-a-kind indoor and outdoor garden art handcrafted by Master Gardener Volunteers. Garden experts will be available throughout the event to answer your gardening questions.

WHEN: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday

WHERE: OSU Extension-Mahoning, 490 S. Broad St., Canfield.

HOW MUCH: Plant exchange is free with eligible plant donations. Garden art will be available for purchase (cash or check only).

Veggies & More Tour

WHAT: Learn about growing practices, helpful tips, soils, organic production and more. Bring a lawn chair for seating and a notepad. Don't forget your weeds, disease and insects -- we'll diagnose what's going on in your garden, too!
