GIRARD MULTI-GENERATIONAL CENTER: The Girard Multi-Generational Center, 443 Trumbull Ave., Girard, OH 44420, is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Center services and programs are funded by the Girard City Senior Levy and in part by the Trumbull County Senior Levy and Direction Home of Eastern Ohio.

SENIOR EVENT: The 6th Ward Community Impact, in partnership with Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, are hosting a senior citizens event from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday at The York Avenue Church of God, 872 York Ave. SW, Warren.

Join us for planting and gardening; fellowship and fun; lemonade and iced tea; light refreshments; community and connection; and more.

RETIREES LUNCHEON: The TMH Retirees and Former Employees will meet for a monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Buena Vista Cafe in Warren. All TMH retirees and former employees are welcome. RSVP to Luana Andamasaris at 330-507-5814 or Tammy Wibert at 330-646-0195.

PERI TO MEET: Public Employee Retirees Inc. will meet at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Shepherd of the Valley, 4100 North River Road, Howland. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. A $10 luncheon will follow the program.

Guest speaker will be Beth Carmichael, executive director of Trumbull County Tourism Bureau. She will share information about the attractions, historic sites and day tours throughout Trumbull County.

PERI meetings are open to public employee retirees, current employees and guests offering timely information, fellowship and programs on current interests. Contact Gloria at 330-847-7458 or Diana at 330-924-5200 by noon Monday for reservations.

SENIOR CENTER EVENT: The Gathering Place Senior Center event will take place 11 a.m. Monday at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 550 N. Broad St., Canfield.

A Place for US! with Dave Sweeney will feature Boardman Park — 243 acres of natural beauty. Sweeney will describe the fully ADA accessible Rowan Sweeney’s Memorial Park, named after his son, coming to the park.
