FEAST DAY: St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 1125 Turin Ave.,Youngstown, will celebrate the Feast Day of St. Anthony Saturday with a Mass, procession and Italian festival honoring Youngstown’s cherished traditions. The Mass is at 4 p.m. and the festival will follow at 5:30 p.m.
RELEASED TIME: Released Time, which is Bible education during school hours, will host a year-end celebration and a parent meet-and-greet 5:30 to 7 p.m. June 27 at Warren First Assembly of God, 2640 Parkman Road NW, Warren. 102 YEARS: The 102nd anniversary of New Bethel Baptist Church, 1507 Hillman St., Youngstown, where the Rev. Kenneth L. Simon has served as pastor for more than 30 years, will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. June 28.

CHURCH HOSTS 5K: Paradise Church, 10020 New Buffalo Road in Canfield, will host the first Little Brick Church 5K at 10 a.m. June 27 with registration starting at 9:30 a.m. The race is designed to bring people together for a meaningful morning focused on remembrance, connection, creativity and community support.
BRAVE HEARTS CAMP: Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE, Warren, will offer Brave Hearts Camp, a creative music and arts camp designed to inspire children to explore creativity, courage and kindness through a variety of artistic experiences. The camp is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 15 to 19 for children in kindergarten to fifth grade. Cost is $35 for the week, and full scholarships are available. JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION: First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren, will mark Juneteenth with a program at 7 p.m. June 18. The multi-ethnic workshop experience recalls the progress made since June 19, 1865. The Voices of Micah 6:8 group, which is hosting the event, recommended the service take place on Juneteenth eve. Members of Free Indeed will take part in the service. A reception will follow.
DRUMS AND YUMS: The Unity Spiritual Centre, 1226 Naylor Lloyd Road, Liberty, will host Drums and Yums at 6:30 p.m. June 19. The event is a summer equinox drumming circle led by Dan Susany, a local drummer, who has led regional drumming events since 1997. You may bring your own drum, or drums will be available. The event is free, but donations will be accepted.
FALLS SCHOLARSHIP: The Newton Falls Ministerial Association presented $24,300 worth of scholarships to 19 Newton Falls High School seniors.
VOCATION EVENTS: The Diocese of Youngstown is hosting a series of Praise & Worship Nights for Vocations at various sites within the diocese through June. These nights are meant for people to pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and religious life., The next event is 7 p.m. June 25 at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish-Blessed Sacrament Church, 3020 Reeves Road NE, Warren.
ORGAN CONCERT SERIES: St. Columba Cathedral in downtown Youngstown will present an organ concert series at the church. The final concert is 6:30 p.m. June 26, with Loreto Aramendi of Spain. The performance is free.
FIRST FRIDAY: The First Friday Club of Greater Youngstown will meet at noon July 9 with a luncheon and program with Steven Kramer, who will present “Evangelization: Encouraging an Encounter with Jesus Christ” at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road in Canfield. Kramer was ordained in 1994 for the Diocese of Rockville Center, New York, and is now incardinated in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Kramer offers retreats, parish missions, and presentations on preaching, evangelization, pastoral care and end-of-life ministry. He co-hosts the podcast, “Teaching Preaching — Forming Today’s Homilists” There will be an opportunity for participants’ questions following the talk. The cost is $25 by calling 330-720-4498 by July 2. The program was moved to the second Thursday because of the July 4 holiday.
