Plant and Pest Clinic
You can submit your questions by calling the office at 330-533-5538 or emailing us at mahoningclinic@osu.edu. Please attach photos and add any information that would help research your plant and pest questions. The clinic is open April through October, Monday and Thursday 9 a.m. to noon. Walk-ins are welcome.
All about the Landscape
What: Join OSU Extension Mahoning County, Boardman Park and the Mahoning Valley Landscape and Nursery Association to learn practical tips for maintaining a healthy and attractive landscape. Extension educators and landscape professionals will demonstrate proper pruning techniques and tools, and help attendees understand when and how to prune different landscape plants. Participants also will have the opportunity to practice pruning on trees and shrubs in the park's gardens, gaining hands-on experience with guidance from experts. Participants are encouraged to dress for outdoor conditions and bring a lawn chair if desired.
When: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
