WELLNESS ON WHEELS: Local venues will host the Warren City Health District's "Wellness on Wheels" Mobile Health Unit. The vehicle has visited each ward in the city offering health screenings and will provide services on the following dates:

• Thursday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Warren Family Mission, 155 Tod Ave. NW, Warren;

• Friday: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Salvation Army's End of Summer Picnic, Perkins Park, 689 Perkins Drive NW, Warren;

• Saturday: 7 to 11 a.m., African American Men's Wellness Walk, Covelli Centre, 229 E. Front St., Youngstown.

SCLERODERMA SUPPORT: The Youngstown Area Scleroderma Support Group, which focuses on issues of people affected in all ways by scleroderma including patients, family, friends, or anyone interested in advancing the areas of support, education and research, will meet at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 7. The Scleroderma Support Group will have a special education meeting at Georgianna Parker building at Boardman Park with speaker Dr. Elizabeth Volkmann, the director of the UCLA Scleroderma Program and co-director of the UCLA Connective Tissue Disease-Related Interstitial Lung Disease Program. CELEBRATE RECOVERY: Celebrate Recovery, a support group to help those recovering from addiction or any kind of mental health issue, meets 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays at 6779 Belmont Ave., Girard.

EATING DISORDER HELP: The National Association for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia and other Eating Disorders, will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Church of Notre Dame, 2325 Highland Road, Hermitage, Pa. For more information, call Renee at 724-981-5435.

ST. JOE'S AT THE MALL: St. Joe's at Eastwood Mall summer hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Regular hours resume in September. All classes are open to anyone with a St. Joe's at the Mall membership. Screenings and programs are open to the public. Strong People Gym membership is $24 per month, with the first appointment with an exercise physiologist.

Weekly exercise classes include Cardio Jam, SilverSneaker Classic and Cardio, Cardio Jam, Cardio Combo, Zumba, chair yoga, floor yoga, beginning and advanced balance classes, 60-up balance class and Parkinson's and movement disorder exercise classes.

The schedule includes:

• Free blood pressure screenings 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays;

• Free nutritional assessment with a dietitian Fridays by appointment only;

• Friday: Just Walk With A Doc, 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. Combines talk and a walk around the Eastwood Mall with local physician Dr. Michele Goodwin, with the topics of allergies and exercise. Free refreshments and giveaways for those who register ahead of time;

• Aug. 8: Bone density screening, 9 a.m. to noon. Have an ultrasound of the heel bone to screen for osteoporosis. No appointment is necessary.

ALZHEIMER NETWORK: The Alzheimer Network has scheduled the following volunteer support groups for Alzheimer's caregivers. For information on any of the meetings or to verify times and dates, call 330-788-9755.

The center is a family membership facility and welcomes all SilverSneakers, Silver and Fit and Renew Active participants. Through a partnership with Mercy Health and its Stepping Out Program, the center offers the following classes:

• Line dancing, 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays;

• SilverSneakers endurance class, 10 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays;

• Pickleball, 7 to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday.

PLATINUM HEALTH: ONE Health Ohio launched Platinum Health at its Lloyd McCoy location in Warren. The goal is to provide a comprehensive approach to health care by combining medical, dental, behavioral health, physical therapy and other services in one location. Platinum Health will focus on preventive and ongoing medical care for people 64 and older.

SENIOR SUPPORT: The Senior Support Action Group is a volunteer-based program that provides services to homebound seniors in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. It provides monthly food boxes, transportation to medical appointments and a phone pals companionship program.
