BABY AND ME TOBACCO PROGRAM: The Baby & Me-Tobacco Free Program was recently designated a "Best Practice" by the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs (AMCHP). Programs with this designation have been reviewed by experts in the public health field as proven effective.
The program is a smoking cessation program for pregnant women and their families. It helps pregnant women and a support partner quit smoking while pregnant and then remain smoke-free after the baby is born. Through a series of face-to-face counseling sessions, women and their families are given tools and support needed to make a successful quit attempt and are rewarded with free diapers in the form of a diaper voucher for their success.

TCCHD VACCINES: The Trumbull County Combined Health District will host vaccine clinics 5 to 7 p.m. today and 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the TCCHD offices, 176 Chestnut Ave. NE, Warren. The first 20 people to be vaccinated will receive a Giant Eagle gift card.
The clinics are offering COVID-19 vaccines. The clinics also will offer the mRNA bivalent boosters. Recipients must be at least two months from completion of the primary series or most recent booster to be eligible for the COVID-19 bivalent mRNA booster.
The clinics also will offer the flu vaccine. Patients receiving additional or booster doses need to bring vaccine cards.
No appointment is necessary.
If you are receiving an additional or booster dose, bring your vaccine card with you to your appointment.

CENTER OFFERS SCREENING KITS: Trumbull Regional Medical Center is offering free colorectal cancer screening kits this month, National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.
Free kits can be picked up 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays in the Radiation Oncology Department at Trumbull Regional's Medical Center Medical Professional Building, 1353 E. Market St., Suite 101.
Kits can also be picked up at:
• Steward Laboratory Service locations: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays, 20 Ohltown Road, Austintown; 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays, 811 Southwestern Run Road, Boardman;

GRIEFSHARE TO START: GriefShare Spring 2023 Group sessions will begin at 5 p.m. April 16, at Life Church, 601 S. Leavitt Road, Leavittsburg.

TREATMENT SERVICES: Niles Treatment Services is an outpatient opioid treatment program providing medication assisted treatment using methadone and buprenorphine coupled with group and individual counseling. Niles Treatment Services serves adult men and women struggling with opioid use disorder.
Medication assistance helps reduce cravings, while counseling and other care coordination efforts support mental and physical health. NTS does this in coordination with other providers to help position patients for success on their road to recovery.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY: Celebrate Recovery, a support group to help those recovering from addiction or any kind of mental health issue, meets 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays at 6779 Belmont Ave., Girard.
SENIOR SUPPORT: The Senior Support Action Group is a volunteer-based program that provides services to homebound seniors in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. It provides monthly food boxes, transportation to medical appointments and a phone pals companionship program.

PROGRAM TO DELIVER GOODS: Life is Good No Matter What helps adults with cancer in northeast Ohio who may be unable to leave their homes. The Good Delivery Program seeks to deliver goods in the form of dinner, flowers / plants, groceries, craft beer and up to $75 toward bills.

PLATINUM HEALTH: ONE Health Ohio launched Platinum Health at its Lloyd McCoy location in Warren.
