LOCAL PERI TO MEET: The Trumbull County Public Employee Retirees Inc. (PERI) will meet 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Shepherd of the Valley, 4100 North River Road, Warren.

This month’s program will be an “Emergency Prep Workshop” presented by Renee McCollum.

Doors open at 10:30 a.m. A $10 luncheon will be served following the meeting.

DISTRICT 2 MEETS: The meeting of the Police and Fire Retiree and Widows of Ohio, District 2, Chapter 10, will be 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Austintown Senior Center, 112 Westchester Drive, Door 108, Austintown.

This will also be the group’s annual picnic.

Bring a casserole or dessert of your choice to share. Meat, drinks and utensils will be provided.

PERI 18 TO MEET: The Public Employee Retirees (PERI) of Mahoning County, Chapter 18, will meet for a noon luncheon Aug. 5 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 Western Reserve Road. Cost is $19.

Guest speaker will be Juvenile Justice Court Judge Theresa Dellick.

PERI welcomes public employees and retirees to join Chapter 18.

FARMINGTON SENIOR CENTER: The Farmington Senior Center, 150 College St., Farmington, is open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Lunches are $5 for those 60 and older and $6 for those younger than 60. They are served 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

Homemade soups, salads and desserts are available.

Activities through the week will include dominoes, current events, puzzle challenge, Self Reliance Society, walking club, knitting, arts and crafts, Matter of Balance, card games, practical skills, workout with light weights and more.

No reservations are required.
