BRISTOL 81, WINDHAM 67: WINDHAM -- Gage Elza scored 39 points, grabbed eight rebounds and recorded seven steals as Bristol (5-1, 4-0) outscored Windham in a Northeastern Athletic Conference game. Elza got help from Damion Durst with 19 points and five assists, and Matt Church with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
The Panthers took a 43-36 halftime lead after an 18-18 tie after one quarter. The Bombers (3-3, 2-2 NAC) trimmed the advantage to 58-55 headed into the final quarter when Bristol put together a 23-12 run.
Bert Jones led Windham with 23 points and Tyler Collins and Bailey Rutherford scored 15 apiece.
BADGER 82, ST. JOHN 65: VERNON -- Aiden Miller poured in 34 points as Badger (7-1) rolled in a non-conference game during which the Braves wore replica jerseys from the 1958 Hartford Bobcats regional finalist team.
Badger jumped out to a 32-10 lead after one quarter as Miller scored 14 of his points in the first eight minutes.
Logan Lendak added 14 points for the Braves and three players -- Jacob Eucker, Brad Blaney and Keith Barto -- tallied eight points each.
PYMATUNING VALLEY 68, MATHEWS 64: ANDOVER -- The Lakers jumped out to a 20-2 lead on the way to a 21-7 first-quarter advantage, then held off the Mustangs in the Northeastern Athletic Conference game. PV (6-1, 4-0 NAC) led 38-29 at halftime and 55-52 after three quarters.
PV's Austin Roberts led all scorers with 18 points. The Lakers also got 15 points from Jonah Wilkerson, 12 from Cole Owen and 10 from Noah Wilkerson.
Mathews (5-2, 2-1 NAC) was led by Tyler Roscoe with 17 points. Zach Rhodanz added 11 points and 10 rebounds, John Smith had 14 points, Vinny Sharp scored 10 and Dominic Greenwood contributed five assists.
MAPLEWOOD 53, GRAND VALLEY 50: MECCA -- The Rockets posted their first victory of the season, rallying from a 41-37 deficit after three quarters to win the Northeastern Athletic Conference game. Maplewood (1-6, 1-3 NAC) held a 16-9 edge in the final quarter.
Hunter Bates scored 21 points for the Rockets and Shane Swogger added nine points, 11 rebounds and three assists.
Grand Valley (3-4, 1-3 NAC) was led by Dante Accettola with 17 points and Malik Mitchell with 13.
