Bristol thumps Chalker, 86-36

≤ BRISTOL 86, CHALKER 36: SOUTHINGTON -- Bristol got another big time win this time against Chalker behind a dominant first half performance. Chalker (1-3, 1-2 Northeastern Athletic Conference) couldn't find the bottom of the basket in the first half as Bristol (4-0, 3-0) led 44-13 at the half. A better second half still resulted in a loss. Chalker was led by Kyle Caracanas with 11 points with a 3-pointer. For Bristol, Matt Church led the Panthers with 24 points while Bryan Gabrielson had 14 points and Tommy Donadio finished with 13 points.

≤ MATHEWS 74, ASHTABULA ST. JOHN 51:: VIENNA -- Sean McDivitt scored 11 of his game-high 26 points in the first quarter as Mathews jumped out to a 24-10 lead.

The Mustangs (2-3) led 41-25 at halftime, then blew open the game with a 23-12 third quarter.

Tyler Koeppen added 16 points for Mathews, Ryan Gates had nine and John Smith eight.

≤ PYMATUNING VALLEY 57, GRAND VALLEY 44: ANDOVER -- A bad third quarter for Grand Valley did it in as Pymatuning Valley got the win. Trent Panak led Pymatuning Valley (2-2, 2-1 Northeastern Athletic Conference) with 13 points and its only 3-pointer while jared freeman contributed 12 points. For Grand Valley (2-2, 1-1), Malik Mitchell put up 0 points with two 3-pointers to help the Mustangs. A 22-6 third quarter in favor of PV put the game out of reach.
