ONION: To the people who selfishly thought it was appropriate to use profanity while on the McDonald parks basketball court and to leave their trash and drug paraphernalia there. As a result, village officials have locked up the courts indefinitely. Now everyone loses.
ORCHID: To the Warren Family Mission and Novelis that provided bookbags stuffed with school supplies to needy kids heading back to school, and to Ianazone's Pizza of McDonald that gave away pizza as families came to collect their bags.
ORCHID: To David Moamis of Liberty, who recently hosted an annual family-day picnic, all designed to raise both awareness and funds for the National Epilepsy Foundation. Moamis held his event at the New Life Lutheran Church in Liberty and it was attended by more than 140 people.
