WARREN -- A fire around 7 a.m. Saturday spread from a vehicle to the outside of a home at 540 Lilac Place NW.
Although the fire was quickly extinguished, 13 Warren firefighters were at the scene and an estimated $5,000 damage was done to the home's siding and window frames in addition to approximately $4,000 estimated damage to the Chevrolet Suburban.
The fire began about 10 minutes after the owner of the vehicle arrived home from work and parked in his driveway.
No one was injured, and the cause is still under investigation.
It was the second vehicle fire in two days. A 2009 Kia Optima caught fire around 9:30 a.m. Friday morning in the Eastwood Mall parking lot near Gander Outdoors, 2390 Niles Cortland Road.
