WHAT: Township trustee meeting Tuesday
PRESENT: Doug Seemann, Ramon French and Mark Webb
Trustees:
• Hired Dustin Beauchene as a firefighter / emergency medical technician;
• Purchased a Toro lawn mower for $8,751 from Country Nursery in Middlefield for cemeteries;
• Announced U.S. Rep. David Joyce will present two flags flown over the Capitol in Washington, D.C., to the township for Memorial Day to be placed at the planned historical museum;
• Announced the zoning office has been moved to the township administration building. Hours are 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays and 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays;
• Reported work is being done with brick pavers at the veterans memorial at Sager Cemetery;
• Announced spring cleanup 8 a.m. to noon May 4 at the township garage with a limit of eight tires per household. No hazardous waste will be accepted.
