LIBERTY -- A two-car crash Saturday afternoon on Belmont Avenue at Crew Hood Road sent four people to the hospital and tangled up traffic for a short time.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Louellen Newell, 74, of Youngstown, and Virginia Deluco, 60, of Girard, pulled out from Crew Hood and were hit by William Rigel, 88, and his wife, Virginia, 87, of Warren, around 1 p.m.
The patrol said all four victims were taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition on Saturday evening. The crash is still under investigation.
