MESOPOTAMIA -- An auto accident early Sunday morning knocked out power for a few hours in parts of Mesopotamia.
The Trumbull County Sheriff's Department reported a vehicle crashed into a utility pole around 5 a.m. Sunday in the 8000 block of state Route 534.
Reports indicate the male driver was injured and taken to the hospital. His name and condition were not available.
Ohio Edison crews were able to restore power to residents by noon.
