COLUMBUS -- Gov. John Kasich has appointed Rocco L. Core of Mineral Ridge as a student member of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees.
Core's term is effective immediately and will end April 30, 2020. He replaces Allen Metz, whose term expired in April, according to YSU's website.
The other student trustee is Lexi Rager of Bristolville, whose term expires in April.
