SHOW: The Warren Revival Center is hosting a garage sale, craft show, bake sale and car wash 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. Proceeds will go to benefit LIFT Ministry in Haiti. Lift Ministry is a ministry that brings hope and help to Haiti by lifting up the name of Jesus and giving food, Bibles, education, clothes and shoes to those in need.

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER: St. John Church of God in Christ's Youth Department will present ''A Night to Remember" 6 p.m. today at the church, 419 Highland Ave. SW, Warren. The event is a black, white or gold attire.
GRAND OPENING: 2Deep Estates, LLC announces the grand opening of the FOCUS Building noon to 2 p.m. today at 2051 Niles Rd. SE. The opening festivities will include music, family activities, a ribbon cutting, public tours, details on property development and building upgrades, and remarks by Terrill Vidale, CEO, the Rev. Todd Johnson, director of operations, as well as city officials, local dignitaries and guests.
Built in 1999 and formerly known as the ACOP Building, the two-level facility comprises over 7,500 square feet of space.
The building renovation project was conceived by Vidale, a local entrepreneur, and Johnson, pastor of Second Baptist Church in seeking to establish "A Hub of Community Engagement, Economic Development, and Entrepreneurship." FOCUS stands for Faith, Opportunity, Collaboration, Unity and Support.

WOMEN'S DAY: The women's department of Because of Him Ministries, 1212 Tod Ave., Warren, will celebrate Women's Day 10 a.m.Sunday with guest speaker Evangelist Janice Pearson. District Missionary Dr. Lanell Perry of the Wlliam Chapel Church of God in Christ in Cleveland will be guest speaker at 4 p.m. service, along with First Lady Deborah Dowe of All Soul's Body of Christ Ministries.

PASTORAL ANNIVERSARY: Second Baptist Church "A House of Hope," 1510 Main Ave. SW, Warren, will celebrate the second anniversary of Pastor Todd and Lady Shameika Johnson with two services Sunday. The 10:15 a.m. worship service will feature Pastor Lock Beachum, Jr. of the Victory Christian Center, Liberty Campus. The 4 p.m. service will feature the Rev. Dr. Avan Odom and the congregation and choir of the Friendship Baptist Church of Warren. Both services will include tribute presentations, musical selections, and special guests from the community.
Johnson began his pastorate at Second Baptist in September 2015, where he has spearheaded a renewed focus on community outreach and evangelism as well as engagement with neighborhood initiatives such as the Highland Pride playground project.
CHURCH ANNIVERSARY: Agape Assembly Church, 426 Nevada Ave. SW, Warren, will celebrate the church's 34th anniversary 11 a.m. Sunday. Guest speaker is Minister Satora Johnson. The theme is ''I Press Toward the Mark for the Prize of the High Calling or God in Christ.''
REDEDICATE BELLS: Zion Lutheran Church will be re-dedicating and ringing the historic church bell on Sunday. The bell sat on a platform outside the church until it was put in storage for a large construction project in 1999. A new platform for the bell was recently built by Ryan Hone Masonry and was designed to look like the bases of the arches holding up the front portico.

Stringer and First Lady Audrey Stringer on their 15th anniversary 11 a.m. Sunday followed by a reception 2:30 p.m. The evening pastoral appreciation service will be 3 p.m. Guest speaker is Pastor Garrick Matlock of Restoration Christian Life Ministries in Warren.
PET CELEBRATION: Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St., Warren, will hold a pet celebration 2:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday with a pet blessing at 5:15 p.m.

Lethonia Herron, 88, is a district missionary of Warren District 11. Her son is Bishop David Herron.
WOMEN IN WHITE: The York Avenue Church of God, 872 York Ave. SW, Warren, will hold the annual Women in White Day 5 p.m. Sunday. Theme for the day is ''Where are Your Roots.'' Guest speaker is the Rev. Dr. Victoria F. Dorsey, pastor of Fifth Street Church of God City of Deliverance Cleveland. There will be a hat march so those attending can wear hats or fashinator.
ANNUAL NOVENA: The Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in North Jackson will hold its annual novena to St. Therese Sunday to Oct. 2. On weekends, the novena will be said after the 5 p.m. liturgy. On the weekdays, liturgy will be said at 6 p.m. and the novena will follow. Visitors are invited to bring flowers to present at the Shrine of St. Therese. Refreshments will be served on the final night of the novena.

500TH ANNIVERSARY: The 500th anniversary of the Reformation will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 659 Niles-Cortland Road, Cortland. The church is hosting a commemoration of the 500th anniversary of The Reformation. The community is invited to a service of celebration and reconciliation. This is a ministry of Lakeview Outreach And Fellowship (LOAF).
The Reformation began with Martin Luther's struggle to find a gracious God. His theological insight became widely known on Oct. 31, 1517, when he posted a scholarly article criticizing certain practices of the Catholic Church.
In 2017, Catholic and Lutheran Christians are looking back on events that occurred 500 years ago by putting the gospel of Jesus Christ at the center.
The Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification in 1999 stated Catholics and Lutherans share a common understanding of justification by God's grace through faith in Christ. The declaration went on to say Catholics and Lutherans no longer condemn each other. In 2015, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and United States Conference of Catholic Bishops published Declaration on the Way listing 32 statements of agreements along with remaining differences and reconciling considerations.

MARRIAGES HONORED: The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown's Office of Pro-Life, Marriage and Family Ministry is sponsoring a second wedding anniversary celebration this year to honor couples who are observing their 25th, 40th, 50th or over anniversaries in 2017. The celebration will be 2 p.m. Oct 22 at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Canton. The celebration will include Mass with Bishop George V. Murry, renewal of marriage vows, a personalized certificate for each couple and a reception for the couples and their families.
