Mon. 10:18 a.m.: Early morning fire damages Braceville barn

BRACEVILLE — Seven fire departments responded to a barn fire shortly after 3 this morning 998 Center World South Road SW.

The 1904 slate-roofed barn was a total loss, and tractors and cars inside it were damaged, according to the homeowner, Earl Hartford. No injuries to people or animals was reported.

Firefighters were at the scene until about 7:30 a.m. The cause of the fire and damage estimates remain under investigation.

Braceville Fire Department received mutual aid help from Newton Falls, Warren Township and Southington fire departments. Champion, Lordstown and Milton Township also assisted.
