Fri. 7:30 a.m.: Fire destroys large Boardman auto dealership
BOARDMAN – Fire gutted Donnell Ford auto dealership in Boardman early this morning, leaving a large part of the business destroyed.
Flames broke out at the Market Street dealership shortly after 4 a.m., according to Tribune Chronicle news partner WKBN Channel 27.
No one was inside the dealership at the time, and no injuries were reported. A cat was rescued from an office inside the building. The flames could be seen shooting out of the building, and the fire was visible from miles away. A portion of Market Street is closed in the area of the fire.
Crews remain on the scene, and this is a developing story. For more details, read Saturday’s Tribune Chronicle print edition or log on to www.tribtoday.com.
