WARREN – A section of Mahoning Avenue NW at North Street NW is closed this morning after a large sinkhole formed in the roadway.
The sinkhole with large cracks on either side of it was reported at 7:36 a.m., according to Trumbull County 911 reports.
City road crews were sent to the scene to determine its cause and make necessary repairs, according to Safety Service Director Enzo Cantalamessa. The city’s fire and police have been notified.
