BAZETTA – A motorist died after being involved in a crash early today in the area of state Route 82 at Elm Road here.

The person’s identity has not yet been released. State Highway patrol Troopers said the motorist slid off the road around 6 a.m., exited the vehicle and called to report the crash before suffering a medical emergency which may have led to the death.

Warren state highway patrol post supervisor Sgt. Philip Robinson said the right westbound lane was blocked for about 90 minutes this morning, but both lanes are now open to traffic.
