COLLABORATIVE TO HOLD TEAM MEETING: The Mahoning Valley Organizing Collaborative will hold team and leadership meetings 6 p.m. Tuesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 140 Cherry Ave., N.W., Warren. BLOCKWATCH TO MEET: Niles First Ward Blockwatch will meet 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Niles Christian Assembly, 672 North Road. Speakers include police Lt. Jim Villecco, new city Auditor Giovanni Merlo and a representative from the Trumbull County Senior Citizens who will speak on senior programs.
SCHOOL HOLDS BONFIRE: Lordstown High School will hold a bonfire 7 to 10 p.m. Friday by the school’s soccer field. The event will include hot dogs, s’mores and water. The homecoming court will be named at 7:30 p.m.
HARVEST PARTY: Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership will hold a fall harvest party 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Warren Farmer’s Market in Courthouse Square.
KENT HOSTS JOB FAIRS: Kent State University at Trumbull will hold a pair of events focusing on volunteerism and employment opportunities on Tuesday and Thursday in the Classroom Building on the campus of Kent State Trumbull. Both events are free to the public. The Fall Volunteer Fair is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, and will provide an opportunity for individuals to connect with local non-profits agencies to learn about volunteer and internship opportunities available throughout the community. A Community Job Fair is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday with representatives from regional business, industry, and Kent State, on hand with information about various jobs and academic opportunities.
