PHANTOMS CHOOSE 898 MARKETING: Canfield-based 898 Marketing has been named the Youngstown Phantoms 2017-18 marketing partner. The firm will handle strategic marketing, planning, social media management, video production and advertising schedule for the USHL hockey team.
CHAMBER PRESENTS PUCO VICE CHAIR TROMBOLD: Beth Trombold, vice chairman, Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, will address the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber's Government Affairs Council 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Maronite Center in Youngstown. Trombold is also past president of the Organization of PJM States, which regulates access to the nation's power grid. She is a member of the National Association of Regulatory Utilities Commissioners, where she serves on the Committee on Energy Resources and the Environment. She is chair of PJM's Independent State Agencies Committee that focuses on transmission needs within PJM. She also serves on the Financial Research Institute advisory board at the University of Missouri. HONOREES SELECTED FOR 25 UNDER 35: The Mahoning Valley Young Professionals, in partnership with the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, will recognize its 2017-2018 Honorees for the 25 Under 35 Awards during a ceremony Feb. 8 at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. The program, in its 13th year, honors Mahoning Valley young professionals for excellence in their professional field and commitment to their community. Three honorees will be distinguished for special accolades as MVP Award winners. Honorees are selected by a panel of judges formed by CFMV, MVYP and community leaders. The nominations are judged on education, professional and community service categories. DUGAN JOINS CASSIDY ADVERTISING: Cassidy Advertising & Consulting LLC, Canfield, has added Katie Dugan as a copywriter. She graduated from Ohio University in 2013, with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She previously worked at WKBN 27 and WYTV 33 as news anchor, reporter, TV producer and web producer. Most recently, Dugan worked at WYTV as the lifestyle anchor, featuring many local businesses. Her responsibilities at Cassidy include writing copy for client websites, press releases and blogs, among others.
GOLDSBORO NAMED SR. VP AT HOME SAVINGS: Ken Goldsboro has been named senior vice president, commercial banking, at Home Savings. He joined the company in 2013, previously serving as vice president, commercial banking. Goldsboro focuses on the development and growth of the bank's commercial loan portfolio. His office is at 275 W. Federal St., Youngstown. Goldsboro earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State University, majoring in finance. He then went on to earn his master's degree in business administration in management, also at YSU.

HOME SAVINGS OPENS WEALTH MANAGEMENT OFFICE: Home Savings Bank will celebrate the opening its new Wealth Management Office in Canfield with a ribbon-cutting 8:30 a.m. Oct. 31. The new office, at 4137 Boardman Canfield Road, Suite 101, includes a team of four wealth management professionals: Karen S. Cohen, CPA, trust office; Christine Wray, private banking officer; Tammy Jorgensen, private banking officer; and Tami Calko, private banking associate.

PAIGE & BYRNES DONATE TO TRUMBULL HISTORICAL SOCIETY: Paige & Byrnes Insurance in Warren presented a check for $790 to the Trumbull County Historical Society, the recipient of the company's third quarter referral program. Every time someone refers a friend or relative to Paige & Byrnes, the company gives them each a $10 gift card and donates $10 to a local charity or nonprofit that is chosen quarterly. The recipient for the fourth quarter is the United Way of Trumbull County.
CHEMICAL BANK DONATES TO TRUMBULL MOBILE MEALS: Chemical Bank has donated $3,500 to Trumbull Mobile Meals to help the organization fulfill its mission of serving the area's senior community.
