The Trumbull County Coronerás Office is investigating the death of a 59-year-old man Wednesday at Willow Lake Park in Champion.

According to the Champion Fire Department, the man was pulled out of the lake at 3:33 p.m. Wednesday in the 5-foot-deep section by bystanders, who started CPR. Firefighters continued treatment upon arrival and transported the man to Trumbull Regional Medical Center, where he died.

The man may have had a medical emergency before being pulled from the water, according to the department. His name has not been released.
