Illuminare will perform 7:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Robert's Catholic Church, 4659 state Route 46, Cortland.
The group, directed by Jon Simsic, is made of collegiate and Youngstown- area music professionals who are committed to performing sacred choral music by compositional masters. The ensemble has performed extensively throughout northeastern Ohio, as well as nationally and in England, Ireland and Wales. The program will include works by Monteverdi, Handl, Marenzio, Pearsall, Goss, Stanford, Paulus and others.
