LUPUS SUPPORT: The Lupus Foundation of America, Greater Ohio Chapter, will hold its monthly Trumbull / Mahoning County Support Group 6 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at Panera Bread, 5675 Youngstown Warren Road, Niles.

This is an open, small-group environment that encourages discussion among Lupus patients and their families. Those affected by Lupus can share their experiences, ask questions, learn and seek help in a safe environment. Most discussions at the support group focus on the “how-to’s” of living with a chronic illness.

Individual differences and confidentiality are respected by those in attendance.

SURVIVORS OF SUICIDE WALK: The 20th annual National Survivors of Suicide Awareness Day Candlelight Vigil is 6 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Warren Reach Center, 2609 Weir Road, Warren. Public is invited and urged to bring photos or signs to highlight the loss of loved ones to suicide. The program is sponsored by Help Network of NEO.

HOSPICE VOLUNTEERS: Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care’s “Change Your Future” campaign is seeking volunteers for assisted living and nursing facilities. WELLNESS CLINICS: Shepherd of the Valley is offering wellness clinics at each of its locations in Trumbull County. A nurse will check blood pressure and blood glucose levels.
