Sacco – Vitello
Amanda Christine Sacco and Marcell Nickolas Vitello, both of Cortland, were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony Sept. 30, 2017, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Father Constantine Valantasis.
A reception followed at St. Demetrios Community Center in Warren.
The bride is the daughter of Vince and Kathy Sacco of McDonald. Parents of the groom are Bob and Grace Vitello of Masury.
Heather Folkwein attend the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Victoria Boulos; Michelina Vitello, sister of the groom; and Laurie Warino. Abigail Vitello, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
Bobby Vitello performed the duties of best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Michael Sacco, brother of the bride; Alessandro Vitello, brother of the groom; and Antonio Vitello, brother of the groom. Alex and Luca Vitello, nephews of the groom, were the ring bearers.
The new Mrs. Vitello graduated from Youngstown State University with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in chemistry. She works as the analytical chemist at Molded Fiber Glass Research Co. in Ashtabula.
Mr. Vitello graduated from YSU as well, with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He is employed as a design engineer for NEXANS Autoelectric of America in Poland.
Following a honeymoon to Italy, the couple resides in Cortland.
