WHAT: Board of Education meeting Monday

PRESENT: Tim Gibson, Diane Duncan, Russell Sewell, Karen Ancell and Gary Morton

The board:

• Approved increasing substitute pay with substitute secretary, custodian, cook, aide, and bus driver for extra trip increasing from $10 to $10.50 per hour. Substitute bus driver regular route will increase from $12.60 to $13.10 per hour or $28.35 per trip to $29.48 per trip. The increases are effective Jan. 1 to keep up with the state’s 50-cent increase in the minimum wage;

• Set the organizational meeting for 5:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at school complex auditorium.
