Phantoms start Nov. 6

The United States Hockey League announced Wednesday that it begin the 2020-2021 season on Nov. 6 and plans on playing a 54-game regular season schedule that will conclude on April 24, 2021.

“The Youngstown Phantoms are thrilled to have worked with our Commissioner, Tom Garrity, and our league partners throughout the United States to formulate a plan that will allow us to play hockey,” Youngstown Phantoms team President, Andrew Goldman said. “The Phantoms look forward to bringing our players into town in mid-September and will be ready for an exhibition schedule beginning in mid-October and the start of the season on Nov. 6, 2020.”

The Phantoms ended the 2019-2020 season with a record of 20-22-6-2 (48 points).

A league schedule has yet to be revealed.
