¯ SEASON OUTLOOK: The Blue Devils are a very young team with very little varsity experience. They plan on pitching by committee to develop the young players’ arms. The goal is to improve each game and to compete in a competitive conference.

¯ SEASON OUTLOOK: The Irish have a very solid core of returning players that they hope to blend with the underclassmen and make great strides as the season unfolds. They have several position battles among talented, but unproven players at the varsity level. Execution in all phases will be essential if they are to succeed.

Grand Valley

¯ COACH: Matt Brumit (6th year, 70-23)

¯ LEAGUE: Chagrin Valley Conference

¯ SEASON OUTLOOK: The Mustangs look to have depth on the mound this season as well as some veteran bats. Grand Valley will need to fill some defensive holes as players work hard to fills these spots each day. The team looks to be competitive in the CVC.

¯ SEASON OUTLOOK: After four 20-win seasons in the last five years, including a Division III district title and a Division II district runners-up run in that span, Mooney returns eight letterwinners and talented newcomers, hoping to make another tournament run. Pitching depth is going to be a strength, which along with a core of good hitters, will be tested by a difficult schedule and strong district.

Grand Valley

¯ LEAGUE: Chagrin Valley Conference

¯ SEASON OUTLOOK: Moving from the NAC to the CVC will be eye-opening for some of the younger players. The goal for the Mustangs is to imrpove day-by-day. With the 2020 season being canceled and no varsity reps, the coaching staff views this sophomore class as freshmen.

Pymatuning Valley

¯ SEASON OUTLOOK: The Lakers have a young and inexperienced varsity squad. They have been working hard and have developed a solid pitching rotation. Their goal is to be better at the end of the year than before.
